Hi all, In the query panel, when I add some objects in the "Result Objects" section in a certain order and when I put the same set of objects in a different order, I see there's a difference in joins in the SQL that's generated.. The objects do come from different tables, but why should the order of putting the objects in the panel change the joins in the SQL.

Crystal uses various tests to see if a field from one table should be joined with a field from another table. When you put the fields in a different order then it changes where Crystal starts the evaluation process as well as the sequence for comparing the tables. It's not an exact science and a different order can have different results.
