Quote tri3 Replybullet Topic: data field shows in header, not footer
    Posted: 31 Dec 2009 at 12:36pm
I have a report created in CrystalReportsXI that does most everything I need except for this final annoyance.

I have header information on the page header that also needs to be displayed in the page footer.

So in the header i have {RPT_TRNCRD_TABLES.BOX_NBR}

also in the footer I have {RPT_TRNCRD_TABLES.BOX_NBR}

the field in the header displays as expected, however the field in the footer does not want to display.

Any thoughts on this? I'm fairly new to this so I hope it is simple.

FYI there is no supression on the field, it is just taken from the field explorer and dropped on the footer.

Thanks

when you drop table fields onto a page header they will dsiplay the value from the first row of your data. On footers it will display the value from that field from the last row read before the footer is displayed

Ahh. Thank you. When the DBE gets in I'll have him change how the view that I'm getting the data from is constructed and will see what that does.
