Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Administer the scheduling and posting of reports
· Develop and maintain reports, using detailed design documents
· Troubleshoot reporting and report scheduling issues
· Follow-up on reporting requests to ensure appropriate closure with the end user
· Effectively translates reporting requirements into technical design documents.
· Compile simple ad-hoc reports as requested by management
· Determine the source of the requested data
· Using knowledge of database relations, creates design documents that can be used for efficient and accurate report development
· Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and/or calculate information to fulfill data and reporting requirements
· Develop stored procedures and report templates as may be required to fulfill data and reporting requirements
· Work on multiple concurrent projects and function effectively as a team member under the supervision of the department manager
· Execute sound judgement on escalation procedures for problem resolution
· Develops and maintains communication in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers by:

· Other duties and projects as needed to support the team.
Knowledge and Skills:
· 2+ years experience using Crystal Enterprise and Crystal Reports
· 1+ years using MS SQL Server
· Knowledge of Relational Database concepts
· Experience with Lawson Report Writer a plus
· Accounting experience a plus.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
· Experience in effectively transferring knowledge to non technical staff.
· Excellent organizational and follow-up skills
· Strong PC application skills, to include MS Word, Excel, & Powerpoint
· Strong desire to meet end-user customer satisfaction standards
· Ability to work flexible hours a plus
Education:
· BBA/BS Degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science or 1-2 years equivalent professional work experience.
Physical Requirements:
· General office environment
· Sitting for extended periods of time
· Moderate to heavy keyboarding
· Occasional lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching
