Hi Everyone,

Does anyone no how to display, superscript and subscript in crystal reports?

Superscript example e4 (read as "e power 4")
Subscript example H20 (read as "H two 0" the chemical symbol  representation of water)

Thank You,
Naresh.

If you want this in the fields you are getting from a database,  there doesn't seem to be any way to show it.
But if you want H2O for example as a set heading, you can build it up from 3 text boxes with different size fonts. Maybe the H and O as size 14 and the 2 as size 8, placed how you want.
Hope this is of some help.

Your solution certainly works, but certainly I need to use it often, since my client's project is named with a supercript :-( and it will appear frequently in headers, footers, groupings, and several labels. Maybe also in data!

I wish to build a formula to process any text, where I could control the placement (or other attributes) of characters based on some logical condition, as we can do for color, font, size, etc. (conditional formatting)

It seems strange that CR "forgot" to give us access to that character attribute :-(

Best regards

Roberto
