Hi,
I'm using a "Staced Bar Chart" an I want to change the default color of the bars. (The chart will never have more than 7 bars.) When I change the the color for the 3 bars which are visible in design view, they get the same color in the preview. But when I change the color in the preview for the bars 4 till 7 the color is lost when I start the preview for the next time.
I can not use the condition in the chart expert because I always have different values in the data.
Is there any other way to set the default color for the other bars?

I am having a similar problem.

I have a group of running totals that produce a bar graph.

I have set the colour mode to colour by group in the chart options so that the bars are all the same colour.

However they all come out a dark blue, which I want to change.

I have set the colour highlight in chart expert to set a colour based on the group but nothing changed.

I have also tried to change the colour of the bars based on the running total fields, but again they all stay blue.

The change of colour was based on the fields being greater than 0, which they all are.

Any ideas why I cannot change the colour?
