Hi all, I asked earlier about consilidating data from two different tables, grouped by a salesID, into one report and kinda answered my own question by simply designing the appropriate subreport and linking on the SalesID....The issue I encounter is predictable...if there aren't any values in the master report for a relevant salesID, but there are in the sub, the valid values in the sub won't be shown because that ID isn't in the master to begin with so there is no value to pass to the sub.

Suggestions for dealing with this issue?

if you are using the salesid as the link you can't really do it.
you would have to run a different subreport with no link (or a differnet link) and pull the dta in as a differnet variable.
