Most recent record:
1. Add a descending sort on the posted date, last change date, or whatever field determines "most recent". This sort will go after the innermost group.
2. Put all of your data in either a group header section and suppress the details section.
Suppress Duplicate Records:
Some of this is determined by what your data looks like. First try turning on "Select Distinct Records" on the Database menu. If that doesn't work, you may have to use groups instead of details to get the distinct data.
