Hi there

For someone who wants to progress onto gaining knowledge and experience of using Crystal Reports apart from having access to the software itself what would be the list of essentials to go forward?

Brian,

Please accept this post as an entry for the Free Book giveaway.  Our company is in the middle of an ERP and using Oracle.  I understand we will be using Crystal Reporting, so I would love to get a head start in learning how to use this valuable program!

Brian:
I am very interested about Crystal Report. I have skill in creating report in Business Object, but want to learn more about Crystal Report. Also, I am wondering what is the difference between both of them.  Hopefully, I got your free book.

Thanks
Andi

G'Day from Australia Brian,
As a soon to be new user of CR I'll be refering to your site (and hopefully your book) quite heavily. The company i just got hired at is migrating from an inhouse report designer to CR for the custom reports of our clients. Look forward to typing to you and the rest of the regulars here.

I utilize VS2005.net  still fairly new to it but know even less about the crystal reports part of it.  I can do simple report pulling from an access database but when it come to selective queries to place in a report I am lost.  I have tried using xsd datasets  but My report always ends up blank just the headers appear. The book I am sure would help me with these problems but in the meantime how can get a simple query to display in a report?

Hi there,

I am new to this area, but I have been dealing with databases and report generators for a long time. Now I have to learn CR quickly, as one of my new customers is requesting that we use only CR. So, here we go...

I'll be participating on this forum in the near future, I am sure...

Thanks!
