I have a set of around 40-50 reports, where almost all the reports are having the company logo embeded. Recently i was told to change the logo in which i had to manually go to each report and change the logo. So now i was looking for a wayout so that i dont have to change the logo manually in each and every reports. I read a solution where i was suggested to create a wordfile, embede the image, and then use this word file as the OLE object. So that next time i just change the logo in the word file and it reflects everywhere. But this isnt working. When i change the logo in the wordfile at the shared location, it does reflects in the reports. Am i missing anything on this? Can anyone please suggest.

HI

Do you have Business Objects / Crystal Enterprise ? If so, you can export logo to repository and the same can be inserted into the report.

If there is a chagne in Logo, then you can overwrite old logo with new one. This will reflect new logo in your reports.

If you are working on stand alone system then do the following :

Keep your image in a shared location with the name logo.gif and insert a sample picture into your report. Now right click on the image and go in 'Format Graphic'--Picture Tab--Graphic Location-- here you mention the location of your logo ie. "c:\images\logo.gif"

If there is a change in logo then simply go in shared location and change the image.

Note : make sure that your new image / image name shoud always image.gif.

Thanks,
