problem, create a report, with cascading dynamic parameters,  on two fields in same table thru odbc. both are text fields.

 

when the report runs, the parameter works, data starts to show then Crystal Reports Crashes. gone. disappears.

 

i can open up that same report on another machine, and it runs just fine.

 

i can also make that report with static parameters and it runs fine.

i can also make it with dynamic paramters seperate for each value.

 

so, it seems to me, the cascading functionality of the dynamic parameter is affecting my crystal report and crashing it.

 

can't seem to find anything on business objects kb either. i'm sure there is either some hotfix, some registry entry, or some dll to fix. darn if i know.
