savan- As i expected it didnt work.Is there is any other way to do it?
Brian- i cant do it using SQL since some section contains cross tab and charts .all the section doesnt follow a particular format

Prem,
Can you post the SQL of the data source for this subreport? I'm thinking along the same lines as Savan, that there is an easy way to group by the type of location. But, you may need to tweak the datasource a bit.
