Hello,
I have a problem in trying to show a percentage on a Crystal Reports XI cross tab reports.  The requirement is to show the percentage of growth from month to month for images posted on a website.

Looks something like this"

Total     /   Jan 2007  /     Feb 2007  /  Mar 2007
______/_________/___________/__________
Blog    /      12        /       50           /      75
Photo /       0         /        24          /      40
Forum/       5         /         18         /       45

How do I calculate a percentage of the growth month to month for each type of posting?  I've tried several things, but nothing is working.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

This is actually a bit complicated and I explained the details in other posts on the forum. Do a search to see if those posts help you out.

Also, I have sample code fully documented in my online ebooks in the premier section. You can check it out here if you wish.  http://members.crystalreportsbook.com/

Hi Pellis, I found a reference to a solutions for the whole class of similar tasks at http://www.relasoft.net/KB10001.html but that solution is a powerful monster and requires programming.

Cheers

have you thought about using a Sub report or grouping instead of Cross tab?  that way you could use running totals and then create the req formula!
