I am baffled. I have been out of CR for about 5 years. Now back, installed XI R2 w/ sp4 on a Vista SP1 system. No problems. Everything seemingly working ok. Cruising though the book CR Encyclopedia to get back into CR mode and caught up with 5+ years of dusty brain cells.
My english install is in metric measurements. (centimeters)
How the do I change it to inches? I have spent WAY too much time google'n and searched the forums here.

Why don't you double check your Windows setup. Go to Control Panel > Cange Keyboards or other input methods > Formats then select English (United States). It will change your measurement unit from Cm to Inches. I tested it by switching from English (United Kindom) to English (United States) and vise versa and it worked. Is that what you're asking?
