Our installation uses an external app to invoke the Crystal Reports viewer. I do NOT have access to the source to this app.

I accidently created a report with Commands for an OLE data source, but unfortunately, the app above requires / uses / permits ONLY ODBC connections. How can I change the report to point to the ODBC connection rather than the OLE connection WITHOUT REDEVELOPING EVERYTHING?

I have already tried everything I can think of in the Database Expert to no avail. I lose command-based formulas, etc. after the switch.

Please help!

Thanks...

Hi

Do you have access to Database Expert ,If YES Open the report  then Select the Menu Database then Select Set Datasource Location

In the Dialog Box in the Replace With Section Create the new Obdc Connection Once done

Highlight the Current Data Source Connection then Highlight Replace with Connection and Click Update.

Cheers
