Hi John,
Please check the font style of the input data. If the font style doesn't available in windows font folder and adobe font list, it may show the characters as squares and so on.

Hi John,
I think, we should get the info from the team who is providing this input data. Please check with your database team in your case it is SQL 2005 who loads data into it.
