While running the report its just returning blank and not showing any trace of session from crystal on database end, but after refreshing it multiple times it's getting connected to the database, returning values on report.

 

what might be the reason for not even trying to connect to the database for first few times? Did check for cache setting on the server but nothing unusual. Do we have any other kind of caching in crystal? It just happens with the one report other reports are fine they do return on first attempt.

 

can we trace the background activitie happening while running the report? If so please detail the steps.

Crsytal studio (2008)  installed on my windows system,
Oracle 10g database
