I just had to reinstall my OS and applications including CR XI. When I was connected prior to the reinstallation, I had CR Oracle Driver 5.0 as a selection to choose from in the System DSN (Administrative Tools/ODBC Data Sourct Administrator). How do I get that driver to be listed as a selection when I click on the 'Add' button in the System DSN window?

Do you have the Oracle client installed.  We just started using Oracle recently and did not see the option for Oracle before we installed the Oracle client.

I hope this helps.

I did install the oracle enterprise odbc. (win32_11gR1_database_1013.zip) which is almost 2 gb to download. I'm not 100% sure if this is the one I used last time?.

If I remember correctly, I also had to include additional files (sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora) created in notepad, to be place in a specific folder. On another computer that currently has connectivity, the location is "C:\oracle\ora92\network\ADMIN", which is somewhat different than what was installed on my system with the above enterprise edition.

Just noticed that the Oracle Enterprise edition I installed does not have the CR ODBC driver (in ODBC Data source Administrator/Drivers). It looks like I need to uninstall the Enterprise and find which Oracle software I need to install the CR driver.
