Hello and Thanks for viewing my thread.

I'm trying to design a report that will auto-complete/drop-down menu from which either or both pull from a database as it is given user input. Is that possible in Crystal and can anyone point me to a tutorial or tell me the correct term for this function in crystal?

You mean can you populate a List of Values (LOV) from your database into a paramater?
Yes, just change the paramter type to from static (default type) to dynamic and select the db field you want it to point to.
You can also create cascading params.
Ithink the help is OK at describing Dynamic params.
