I tried doing a custom sort without having that field as one of the rows but it apparently, if it isn't in the cross-tab, you can't sort by it, which makes sense.  I tried to set the width of any and all of the cells for that field to 0, which didn't work.  How can I make the blank column go away? (or is that really not possible...) Thanks in advance! Ron
