Though there good books on Crystal reports.
 
Nobody has given clear insight about the Crystal reports releases and versions.
 
I would like to know more about crystal report versions avaible like XI and .net.

I did a quick Google search on Crystal Reports Version Comparison and came up with this link that has comparison info through version XI:

This is off of the old BusinessObjects site.  I'm not seeing anything similar from SAP for Crystal 2008.
