For those who know Access Reports I have a text box with control source:

=Sum([AnnBud])

How would I do the same thing in crystal?

Use a summary - you can get to them by either clicking on the summary button (the big E) or by going to the Insert menu and selecting Summary.  The screen that appears will give you a number of options so that you can sum at various group levels (if you have groups in your report) in addition to at the report level.
