I am working on a report here that needs to have the Top 3 most frequent inquiries, followed by a number count displaying the number of times that inquiry was made. I am pulling my eyes out trying to figure out how to do this.

This is what I'm needing to see:

The Top Three Inquiries were:

    1. Another Division (20)
    2. Control of the topic (11)
    3. Additional Information (6)

I need this information in either the page header or the report footer.
I am using an Nth Most Frequent Summary for each of the Top Spots, but I cannot get a count on each of those Summaries. I need to display 20 as the number of occurrences for the Number One  Inquiry, so on and so forth. I don't understand why you can't do what should be the simplest things in Crystal, and it's driving me nuts.

I would be super grateful for any help I can get on this.

group on the field that has your types (another division, control of the topic, additional info)

Use an insert summary to get a count of that field at that group level (i am ghuessing here so you may need to change it to another summary type)
NOw your Grouop Sort Expert will be available for use (button with blue chart linewith Red up arrow on it).
click on it
select the group name Tab you want to work on(likely defaulted to it)
fro this group pick Top N
Where N is enter 3
based on select the summary here
Youc an incluse other is you want

Thank you SO much. That worked like a charm. Man,... I AM new. I basically did what you said in a SubReport, and then added that Sub Report to the Report Header of the Main Report. I am super grateful for the help. Thank you a TON.
