HI ,

Greeting to you all ,

I have created a Crystal Report Document which i have exported to textfile, textformated Report, using "Crystaldecision.shared" assembly .

What actually happening is .. I have given every group shout start with a newpage. in crystal report its working fine ,, however, when i convert to textformat , new page option is not working .. all the groups are joined together and no spaces between groups. Please help me on this how can i get rid of this issue.(Text Report is continuous no spaces as specified in the crystal report document).

Converting the report to textfile is for fast printing in dotmatrix printer . everything is working fine but the formatting is missing .

Kindly help me on this .

THanks a lot in advance .. any help would be greatly appreciatable ..

According to my knowledge, it is not possible to get the data on different pages while exporting crystal reports in to a text format.

Work around:
You have to export crystal report to word and then you can go for print.
i am sure you can data on invidual pages from word format according to your requirement.

Thanks,
Sudh

Crystal Reports really isn't compatible with Dot Matrix printers.Crystal is WYSIWYG. We have several reports that run exclusively on Dot matrix and all it took was a little tweaking of the formatting to get the results we were looking for.
