Hi,

I installeg Crystal Server 2008 on SLES10 SP3 32 bits, using a mysql database for CMC repository. On same machine i installed Oracle 10.2.0.1 client (full) 32 bits and i configured tnsnames to acces a database located on other machine.
I can connect to Oracle Database via sqlplus but when i try to view a report from CMC i see 2 kinds of errors:

1. Failed to open the connection - if i choose on database configuration default settings
2.
Error in File Report2: Failed to load database information - if i choose Oracle driver and fiil Server, Database, user and password.

As oracle user i see ORACLE_HOME, TNS_ADMIN and LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly.

What an i do?
Thanks

I have the same issue. The only difference is that I'm using WinServer2003 for the Crystal Report Server.

Is there any solution to the problem?

I solved this problem.
The user as Crsytal Server was installed didn't have acces on Oracle bin files.
So i added this user to oinstall group....now everithing is working fine.
