SleepyIn my project done with visual studio 2008 ,there are several reports that are developed using crystal report 2008.
Now for doing certain operations, that are not available in 2008, i am planning to shift to crystal report X1.For that i installed Crystal report X1 in my system .But now i am get ting errors likke

CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine not found  like that so many errors are getting.

If anyone knows the correct steps,please guide me

we don't mix our versions of Crystal.  the only reason we went to CR 2008 is that CR XI wasn't working with Windows 7.
 
As for functions that are available in XI and not in 2008...I wasn't aware that there were any.

Since 2008 is more automated I can see having some problems with trying to run a report in XI.If you have XI and 2008 both installed then you may have a conflict going on.
