Hello,

I am needing to calculate the value of R Square in a trend line chart and wondering if there is a way to calculate this value in Crystal Reports?  I have Crystal Reports 2008 by the way.

Thank you so much for any help in advance!

Thanks,
TC

I am guessing that there is.  I don't remember the formula, but using formulas and shared variables you should be able to create a solution to display the R Squared value.

Thank you for your response!  I am not familiar with share variables.  In MS Excel there is a R-squared built in function and I was hoping CR has this built in function as well but I've had no luck in finding.  I couldn't find anything on Google relating R-squared and Crystal Reports.

Thank you!

google r squared and then apply the formula.  if it is too complex or can't be done, well that's that.

it would seem that it is not part of CR toolbox, as they only have only the basic statistical calculations.
