s it possible to display the contents of the groupfooter(in my case it is double line) in every pages. Some one suggested to put it in the page footer.But the problem i am facing while keeping in the page footer is that sometimes my report contains only one row of data. In that case the the double line will go the bottom of the page that makes the report to looks like uneven

well, no, because the group footer is only printed once...at the end of the group. obviously, the page footer is printed every page, hence the suggestion. you could try putting it in the page footer and optionally suppressing the display based on whatever conditions you consider appropriate.
