Hi everyone,

I am very new to this forum. I am currently developing ID Card Management System in Visual Studio 2005 + SQL Server 2000. I have already managed to add dynamic image to crystal report. Now I need to place authorized signature over the photograph in  the report. When I tried this with transparent png / gif, the transparent area appeared black. Is there any way to add transparent picture over another picture in Crystal Reports?

i don't know, I haven't done anything with pictures, but you might try to set one for OverLay...which I haven't had a need for, but I know that it is to allow you write on top of another.
 
If nothing else, it is a avenue to research...

Thanks for your reply, lockwelle.

I tried your suggestion of Overlay by creating another detail section (with underlay following section option checked) and placed image on it but no luck ... the same problem again ...

I need to display one image above another but as you know transparent images (gif, png) are not shown fully transparent in CR. They display with black background. So, I need a method by which I can place a transparent image over another (a signature on a photograph).

Any Idea??? Your kind help will be highly appreciated!!
