chart for multiple days

I have a report that users can select a date range (parameter) as criteria. SOmetimes they want to select one day and other times they want to select an enitre month. I then have a series of charts in the report footer that uses data created in summary fields. I have two issues with these charts.
 
1) if i export to pdf it cuts off wider charts. is there a way to stop this?
2) is there a way to produce a chart per day? meaning if they select 30 days they will see 30 charts?

if you group on the date field (Set to day) youc an plac ethe chart in the group footer and it will run once per group (day)
