Hi, I am using Crystal Reports 2008.  I will explain this at a high level and hope I find somoene interested in the challenge. My goal: Identify employees that have transferred completely out of Human Resources. The set up: Employee's "Transfer From" details reside in Details B (which is hidden), and their "Transfer To" details reside in Group Footer 3.  This set up works nice to show employees who have transferred into HR, as those employees will appear in Group Footer 3, (which is not hidden) and their transfer from info is hidden in Details B. The Challenge: To find employees that are no longer in HR would require the opposite type of set up; where info in Details B ("Transfer From") is not hidden and the info in Group Footer 3 ("Transfer To") is hidden. Can we say something like:

If employee appears as a "transfer" in Details B, and if Group Footer 3 shows the same employee not in specified HR Departments, then don't hide the employee's data in Details B. I feel like I could conditionally suppress anything in Details B if the employee in Group Footer A does not appear in an HR Department.

Are you up to this challenge? I'll provide more details if you are. My brain could use a break!Wacko
