Hi, all.  I have a report with three groups.  When I put a New Page After in GF3 the GH1 will repeat on change of value.  For example, my report will look something like this:
 
Group Header 1 - First Type
 
Group Header 1 - Second Type
 
Group Header 2
 
Group Header 3
 
Details
 
Group Footer 3
 
Anyone know how I would stop GH1 from repeating when the value changes?

I am not sure if you are referencing actual group levels or teh number of values that create a instace of a group.
Hoever, you may want to look at 
the group expert
select group 1
select options
select options tab
make sure that the 'Repeat group header on each page' is unchecked

The problem is that I want Group Header 1 to repeat on each page.  The problem is when the value of Group Header 1 changes from Clinical to Financial, I get a GH1 section for each value.  GH2 and GH3 print normally.

Sorry, I do not know your data so I don't understand.
If you set it to repeat on each page that is what it is going to do.
Do you mean it prints twice on the same page after group footer 3 prints on the previous page?

do you have any other new page beofre or after set in the section expert?

No, the only Page After is in the GF3 section.

Strange thing is that if I remove the Page After from GF3, the GH1 repeats normally.

my guess
It is printing a group level 2 somehow between the 2 GH1s
I can't get to your image righ now...How is GH2 set up?

GH2 contains a text box with the Group Name and a count of that group's items.
 
Subtype: {Group #2 Name}  --  Outstanding: {Count of TASKS.WOTYPE2}
