Hi,
 

I am using CRE XI4. At the moment I have a report which has a Group Header 1 which groups by region and a report footer that total the regions.  All other fields are hidden.

 

I want to split the content under GH1 and display this as another section/group (not sure) so that I have a report that does this;

 

Region

Objects1 & Measures1

 

Region

Objects1 & Measures1

 

Total Region

Objects1 & Measures1

 

Region

Objects2 & Measures2

 

Region

Objects2 & Measures2

 

Total of Region

Objects2 & Measures2

 

If put in a GH1 and GH2 then I can’t sub total the regions and I can’t seem to format the report so the pages run in order as seen above. This seems like really basic functionality (in comparison to other reporting tools), is someone able to advise on the simple function that I missing out on?

Group by whatever determines the "1" and "2" of your objects & measures then group by region.  You'll then probably have to use a subreport to get the grand totals for the regions.
