hi,
as the title says, is it possible to return the current group field value to the .net application?
what i'm trying to do is, the user clicks the next button on report viewer, when the user closes the viewer/form i want to be able to get the current group field value he was last looking at.

not that I know of, but i've been wrong before.
if you look at CR, it is basically a read program...it just reads data.
You might be able set a parameter to the value being viewed and then ask CR what the value of the variable is, but I truly don't know if this will work, as I don't know if CR reports the current value...it's probably what I would try.
