Hi,
So I have run into a problem with dynamic parameters. We use
an application that is run by many different agencies in our county.
We use a system DSN with an ODBC connection. The DSN is configured for
each agency to point to a specific database for their agency.
Therefore, we are able to write one report that can be run by each
agency and it will fetch from the correct database (specified by the
DSN).
The issue is when trying to add a dynamic parameter. It is
only using the database from when I originally saved the report. When I
run the report on another agency, it uses the dynamic parameters from
the agency I was using when I created the report, but then runs it
against the correct database when fetching rows for the report.
Is it possible to have the dynamic parameters also fetch from the current database?
I am using the latest Crystal Reports XI (and also ran SP4).
