Hi, I'm using CR 2008. Is it possible to have a parameter prompt in a Crystal report that the charts in the report recognize? So if I want a date range parameter to prompt (01/01/2014 to 08/31/2014) that the charts will only display those records?

Or

Is it possible to conditionally suppress records older than the current year from my charts, but leave the data in another group footer unaffected by the conditionally suppressed formula?

I ask because my charts include data for the entire report, not just the records I want. The report is reading an xls document that gets update every 2 weeks with new records.

Suggestions or tutorials are appreciated. Thanks!

I would think that you could have the chart as a subreport and then you could filter the records for the chart in the subreport to be what you are after.
