Is it possible to display the total page number of a main report when a subreport is being displayed as well?

My subreport is located in my main report's report footer and is configured to display on a new page once the main report is done, and it is required I display the current page number then the total page number for the main report. Example: Page 2 of 5

When my subreport is run, it just adds up the total number of pages (obviously) of the main report and subreport, which is why I am wondering if there is a trick that I can utilize to display only the total page count for the main report.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

reset the page number befor ethe section with the sub report and conditionally suppress the page number fields on or after that section?
