In Crystal Enterprise 8 and above is there away in the URL to tell the report to refresh instead of using the cache?
I would like to eliminate the steps of people having to run the report, hit the Export option, save it to the file, then open it so I found that I could just specify the export format right in the URL:
http://myserver/myreport.rpt?cmd=export&export_fmt=u2fxls:5
If the report has not been run in the past 5 or 10 minutes then the report will refresh and even prompt for the values if needed which is excellent. However if someone ran the report in the last few minutes, the report that is in the cache shows and the user is not prompted for any parameters.
I have been searching on the Crystal 8 Enterprise settings for a way to not use the cache because it is not needed, but I have not had any luck.
If there was a way I say in the URL to refresh every time that would solve my issue.
