We're looking to move CR from a PC in my office to a virtual PC so it's on our LAN and backed up. We've moved it but have run into a weird problem. If we try to run any reports that work fine on the PC in my office on the VM, we get an error for each table in the report that it can't be found and asking if we want to delete it. We say no to each prompt and after doing this for each table, the report generates the correct data.

We've tried deleting the connection and adding it back. Same result. We've also written a quick and dirty report on the new VM, thinking it might have to do with moving the report from the PC in my office. Same result.

We're running CR 14.1.1.1036 Developer version. The PC it works on is running Win7 Home Premium. The VM is running Server 2012.

Any ideas?

I believe the problem arises that for some reason you do not have the same connection information.  Can you do a verify database on the virtual PC?

The connection verifies with no errors or problems.

Odd, then it should find the tables.  I am not sure why it is happening.
