I am trying to set up groups for a clients last years sales based on a summary of all invoice totals from last year.  I know I can do this if I have a datafield that has this total sales amount, but how do I do this off of a summary I created?

Unfortunately, you can't do it based on a summary field b/c the summary field is calculated at the same time that the groups are created. So the summary field data isn't actually available b/c it's still in the process of being calculated.

I beleieve the best way to do this would be to create multiple SUM fields. So you have the summary of the invoice lines to create the invoice total, and then do another summary of the invoice lines to create the client total. You could then go on to create a summary of the entire report.
