Hi friends, we developed a windows based application in vb.net 2005 and MS-Access and we are using crystal reports in one of our forms,when we install the setup file on other computers the crystal reports are not displaying,a window asking for database login id and password, is displaying,can anybody know how to use crystal reports in vb.net 2005 windows application and we are using xml files as datasource,we are getting cystal reports in the computer in which we installed but we are not getting them on other computers,can anyone plz suggest me with some examples or with some links or articles. thanks in advance.  regards pavan kumar muvvala. |

You say that you are using XML files as the datasource, but you also say that you are using MS Access. Not sure which one is true. Also, do you have a copy of the Access database on each computer, or if it is on the network do they have access to the network drive? It has to be mapped to the same drive on every computer. The computer setup has to be identical in every way for CR to be able to print the report on each computer. |

hi, actually we are using ms-access as backend but i have created an xml file from the dataset which is assigned as source to datagridview,and each system is having its own database at the same location,but we are getting database login screen asking for login id and password,if u have examples regarding this issue where u used crystal reports in vb.net 2005 plz send me or any links or articles on this issue.
