i want to customise the cross tab columns according to database order . how to customise the columns in cross tab.

I have done something similar. I had two fields I could have used for the column. One was sortable in the order I wanted and the other was the label I wanted to display.
 
In the Cross-tab Expert, I dropped the sortable field as a Column. Then I changed the Group Options for the field and in the Options tab customized the group name; I specified the field I wanted actually displayed.
