hi,

when running my app on a webserver with a redist of CR 2008 installed,
i get "Database logon failed" exception.  the strange thing is, that i am
pushing the data into the report.

in my C# development environments (VS 2005, VS2008) everything works fine.

version info:
VS 2005 uses CR 10.5.3700.0
VS 2008 uses CR 10.5.3700.0
redistributable uses CR 12.0.1100.0

i know that the versions are different, but 10.5 is what comes with VS and we are stuck with 12.0 on the server.
since i do not get an "invalid call" of some sort it should be compatible, right ?

is there a bug in the redist ?  got the latest one from march with hotfix.

would be great if someone has found a solution.

cheers
   Martin
