I have 4 fields in a report. 2 string fields and 2 integer fields. I need to add the sum only if the integer field is there. This has to be done dynamically. Can anybody help me out?

I don't really understand what you're trying to do.  Do you mean that you only want to count if the integer field is > 0?  if so, you can do this using a running total.  Just set Evaluate to "Use a Formula" and put something like this in the formula:
 
{table.integer_field} > 0
