Hi Everyone!!!.

One of my clients has this problem:

I will give you a description of the scenario.

The client had Crystal Enterprise 9 with quite a good number of Crystal Reports on it.

They bought BO XI R2. So we installed BO XI R2 on a test machine and did a import from CE 9 to BO XI R2 onto the test machine and tested the migrated reports.

They were all working fine.

Next we installed BO XI R2 on the production server and did an import from the test machine to the Production server.

The migration went ok. I installed Crystal Reports XI on the production machine and was able to open the migrated reports from the Crystal Reports Developer.

The reports are opening fine in InfoView also from end user machines.

Problem: Customer installed Crystal Reports XI on some end user machines and connected to BO Enterprise.

List of available reports are shown.

When he is trying to open the report he is getting the folowing error:

"The report could not be opened from BusinessObjects Enterprise.

Probably the report is on a different Business Objects Enterprise system than the one you are currently logged onto. If the problem persists please contact your administrator."

We need to resolve this on a very urgent basis..

Please give me the solution as soon as possible.

Do the users who are trying to update the report have Edit rights to the reports inside BO XI?  If not, that's probably what's causing the problem.
