Hi

I'm obviously new to CR, so please forgive.

Ive created a series of reports using CR XI. Is it possible/how do you run them via CR runtime ?

All help appreciated.

Thanks

Are you asking how YOU can run the report, or how a co-worker could run the report. If you want to run the report, just click the preview button on the toolbar and it opens a new tab to show you how the report will look. If you want others to run the report, there is a free Crystal Reports viewer you can download from the Business Objects website (unfortunately, I don't have the link) or you can export it to PDF, HTML, Word, etc. and let the user open it using one of those programs.

Sorry - what I want to do is have other people be able to re run the report and refresh the report from data sources but not edit the report itself.

I dont want to have to setup the CR server etc.,

Will the runtime environment allow me to do this ?

Thanks

For each person to run the report with live data, they need a copy of Crystal Reports on each computer. Alternatively, you can get that CR Viewer program that is a free download from Business Objects. They can load your report in the viewer and refresh the data.
