Subreport keeps starting on a new page

I have a report and then a subreport in a group footer of the report.
 
All the other sections are supressed and i've tried varies combinations of keeping groups/sections together but for somereason when the details section ends and the subreport start it always moves and starts on a new page. I would like the details section to display and then for the Subreport to just flow after it.
 
Does anyone know what else I can try to make that happen or if I can do it or why it is always starting on a new page?

Try this.
Right click on your sub-report and select "Format Subreport".
In the Format Editor select the Common tab.
Set "Can Grow" as checked (true).
Make sure you have the "Keep Object Together" unchecked (false).

Also make sure that the section of the main report that contains the subreport has "Keep Together" turned off in the Section Expert.
