One of our ddevelopers is having trouble getting CR 2008 to work in .Net on a 64 processor. He seems to think that it's the 64 bit archatecture causing the problem. Is there any known problems with CR 2008 and a 64 processor?

Nevermind. It looks like downloading SP0 for CR 2008 solves the 64 issue when using VS 2008. I will continue to investigate.
