Hi guys,

I want to know whether i can show/hide a section through code ?

Yes.
In the section Expert select the section you want to show/hide,
click on the formula option next to the Suppress (No Drill Down) and enter your formula there. If the formula evaluates as TRUE it will suppress the section, FALSE=Show.
