I'm having troubles displaying a field when the report comes back with no matches.

If there are no matches i can't get the whse number and description to print in my headings when using database fields.

I tried to create a prompt to select the whse wanted and can now display the whse number, but can't figure out how to display the prompt description.

Any suggestions on how i can get headings to appear on a report that returns no matches, even if its just the prompt description.

Thanks

i should clarify.

Here is my select expert
whse_id = (can pick 1 of 9 from dropdown menu) and onhand_qty > 0

Report heading
ONHAND STOCK : {WHSE_ID} - {WHSE_SHORT_DESC}

this works fine if there is stock. If there is no stock then both {whse_id} and {whse_short_description} are blank.

So i switched to using a prompt and my select expert looks like
whse_id = {?whse_id} and onhand_qty > 0

Report heading
ONHAND STOCK : {?WHSE_ID} - {how do i get the prompt descrition to print}
