Hi...

I have a crystal report problem....

I have made a form that has lots of grouping by....

By Team Number, Family Number and Individual Number

The scenario with my report was that one family can have multiple individual number and one team number can have multiple family.

This form needs to be sent to the head of the family members (in this case the father or the mother (if no father in the family)) OR per family. But page break individual number (each invidual has their separate page) so in section expert on details section i checked on the new page after.

group header 1 - team number
group header 2 - family number
group header 3 - individual number
details
group footer 3 - individual number
group footer 2 - family number
group footer 1 - team number

I have put the 'page N of M' under group footer 2 - family number and checked on reset page number after. So if one family has 3 individual (father, mother and son) it should show page 1 of 3 on father's page, 2 of 3 on mother's page, 3 of 3 on son's page for that family. So the page N of M is grouping on family number level. I have put the 'Page N of M' under group footer 2 - family number but i keep on getting 1 of 1 for each individual page... how can i reset the page numbering starting new family name? Is there any formula (x+2) that i can put in group footer 2 - family number on 'reset page number after' to just reset page page number after for certain group in this case family number group? Please help. Thank you.

try moving your "page n of m" field to the page header or page footer and make the Reset page number on Group footer 1, not group footer 2
or on Group header 1 as a formula:
NOT onfirstrecord

Hmm, I am having trouble visualizing how you want this to work.

In your example you have father, mother and son.
based on your grouping, they all have there own "individual number" but they have the same 'Family Number' and the same 'Team Number', correct?
